This bag consists of three layers – paper, metallized PLA and PLA. The metallized PLA layer will provide high barrier protection for oxygen and moisture. This bag includes a zipper and is also 100% biodegradable 8 compostable!

PLA (Polylactic Acid) is a bioplastic material made from renewable resources such as corn and sugar. It is a sustainable product and is compostable in industrial composting facilities. ALOX is compostable and when used with a PLA film will create a high barrier, fully compostable package without the concern of plastic packaging.
