On the tea table of tea lovers, there are more or less auspicious small objects such as elephants, turtles, toads, Pixiu, and piglets, which are called tea pets.
Tea pets, as the name suggests, are pets that are nourished with tea water, which can add fun. When drinking tea, they can be smeared or directly dripped with tea soup, and over time they will become warm and pleasant, emitting a tea aroma.
How should tea pets be maintained?
1. Tea pets are not limited to Pu erh tea, and there are no restrictions on the tea leaves used to care for them. However, Pu erh tea, black tea, black tea, etc. are generally preferred. Mainly because the tea quality of these teas is conducive to their effectiveness. If conditions permit, it is recommended that tea lovers use a type of tea to nourish themselves.
2. Generally, choose a moderately shaped one, not too large, as it also needs to consider allowing most of its body to function as a water storage device.
3. Pour hot tea soup over the tea pet instead of plain water, and gently wipe it with a teapot pen or brush dipped in tea water. Over time, the surface will have a better luster and appear more vivid.
4. Sand can also be good or bad, but it is not a problem. In daily maintenance, it must be cleaned with a brush and regularly rubbed with a tea cloth to maintain a certain degree of brightness. When pets vomit, it’s easy to see when they open their eyes.
5. Not requesting convenience, but soaking the tea pet in the tea water. This approach is like pulling out seedlings to promote growth. Although the luster and color of the tea pet appear to change quickly, it is easy for uneven color to occur. Experienced people can tell from the luster at a glance.
